Earlier this week we discussed NHS uniforms through the 20th century. As we turn out each week to clap for carers and as rainbows and words of thanks adorn homes across the country, many of us feel superhero outfits would be more fitting ensembles for NHS workers than scrubs.
With this in mind, we’ve created templates of NHS uniforms past and present, perfect for re-creating NHS heroes just as they are, giving them a superhero makeover, or re-imaging past designs in today’s rainbow colours. We’d love to see where your imagination takes you and share your creations, so be sure to tag us:
We do hope you’ve enjoyed exploring the Fashion and Textile Museum online. If so, please consider making a donation, to help us continue our work during this difficult time.
Every donation will support us in showcasing contemporary fashion and textile design during our closure, and will assist us in welcoming you back to the Museum, as soon as we are able.
